Apple's Safari browser has been struggling to keep up with its demanding public this morning, with a number of users reporting crashes and service outages.
The crash is reported to have been caused by a bug with the browser's 'auto suggest' feature and has seemingly affected iPhone and iPad users worldwide.
A fix has been suggested by many users on Twitter while Apple is said to be working on a more permanent solution.
The auto suggest feature works by attempting to predict what the user is searching for and offering a list of possible suggestions.
Users raised the issue on the Twitter this morning, with many using the hashtag #Safaricrash to report the browser crashing on multiple devices.
Users experiencing issues with Apple's browser have been advised to disable the browser's suggestions.Go to: Settings > Safari > Safari Suggestions.
Apple has not yet officially revealed what is causing the issue, but a Reddit user claiming to be an Apple employee has said the firm is looking into the issue.
Today's browser problems follow in the wake of a prank site which wreaked havoc on iPhones by crashing the browser.
Earlier this week, MailOnline reported the website www.crashsafari.com crashes the iPhone's default browser by releasing thousands of characters that overload its memory, overheating the phone until it shuts down completely.
It has also been posted with a URL shortener to try to trick people into opening it.
The page includes a header title and a small piece of JavaScript, which calls the HTML5 History API thousands of times in a loop that causes Safari to freeze.
