On the iPad you can rename an album in your Photos app quite easily. Here's how:
1. Open the Photos app
2. Tap 'Albums'
3. Tap 'Edit'
4. Tap the name of the album
5. Choose either method:
- To correct a name, tap within the name and use the keyboard backspace X to delete the unwanted letter/s. Then type the new letter/s and tap the keyboard done. -OR-
- To delete the whole name, tap the X next to the name. Then type the new name and tap the keyboard done.
6. If you have no more albums to rename tap the blue 'Done'
