Welcome

The Apple Users Group (AUG) is being formed here in Oak Run for all residents that use Apple products. This includes, but is not limited to, Mac Pro, iMac, MacBook, iPad, iPhone, iPod, and applications such as Safari, iTunes, iCloud and others.

If enough people are interested then a club can be formed. The club would be tasked with providing information and instruction on the use of the above Apple products and more. There is also the possiblity of becoming registered with Apple worldwide and having access to discounts and other benefits of registration.

There is currently a Macintosh Users Group in Ocala that may be able to help us get the AUG up and running. If you want to know more about this group visit their website http://ocalamug.org/.

I've begun an email list based on phone calls I've received so far. If anyone else would like to be part of the AUG then please email me at oakrunaug@gmail.com.

Hi Ron,
Glad to see a start to ORAUG. I hope there is enough interest to sustain it. I own an IPad and am a very new user. It's the only Apple product that I own and am very interested in learning all about it with the help of this group.

I have an iPad2 and the only Apple product I own. I am struggling and very interested in learning more about the iPad2 thru this group. I have recorded Feb 24 on my calendar and will be there.

Hi Ron,
So glad Oak Run has started an Apple Users Group. I have owned the iPhone for a few years. I enjoy it and am on my second iphone now. I have an iPad (1), also for a while now and I although I do fairly well with it, I know I am not enjoying it's full potential.

You mentioned that the next meeting would be on 4th Friday of the month, which I have written on my calendar as the Mar 23.
See you then and anxious to meet other members.

Sandra
